Unyielding faith

“Unyielding faith moves mountains!”
So the prophet said, and the obstacle was no more. The scriptures will tell later he was the last to cross, but I think he was leading through, for the faith one one man is not enough to split the seas. I imagine him walking without looking back, trembling, trying to hide his weakness to those behind that were believing in him to channel God’s power.

Ainsi parla le prophète, et l’obstacle ne fut plus. Les Écritures racontent qu’il fut le dernier à traverser, mais je pense qu’il était le premier, car la foi d’un homme seul n’est pas suffisante pour séparer les eaux. Je l’imagine marchant sans se retourner, cachant ses tremblements et sa peur à ceux derrière lui qui croient en lui, en sa capacité à faire appliquer la volonté de Dieu aux éléments.
