    The next morning came. The old sailor was still smoking. It was not painful or anything but became quite bothersome.
    He went and asked several physicians and good doctors. None could help, and all were baffled by his condition.
    As the days flew away, the smoke got thicker. Maybe one of me pipes is cursed? he thought.
    Yes, but… which one?

    Le matin suivant, le vieux marin fumait encore. Ce n’était pas douloureux mais devint plutôt gênant.
    Il s’en alla voir plusieurs pratiquants et docteurs de renom. Aucun ne sus l’aider, et tous furent abasourdis par sa condition.
    Plus les jours passaient, plus la fumée s’épaississait. L’une de ses pipes était peut-être maudite, se dit-il.
    Oui mais voila… laquelle ?

    – Tell me zombie doctor, how is it?

    – Very bad I’m afraid. What was he thinking?

    – I honestly don’t know. I was there, minding my business, and this silly fellow here started screaming all of a sudden and jumped from up there. I think I heard several thunks and a splat. When I looked he was like this, all dead.

    – Humpf… that ’s silly, indeed… I think I will need to reanimate it. Or just reusing the parts. Except the head, because, y’know, I don’t think anyone would have a use for a brain capable of that.  

    – I do.

    – Really ?

    – Yes, with some vinegar and capers.

    – Alors docteur Zombie ?
    – C’est moche, j’en ai peur. Mais qu’est-ce qui lui à pris à ce zozo ?
    – Honnêtement, je n’en sais rien. J’étais tranquillement en train de vaquer à mes affaires quand j’ai entendu un grand cri suivi de plusieurs chocs sourds et un gros splat. Quand j’ai regardé, je l’ai trouvé comme ça. Il a du sauter de depuis là-haut, je crois.
    – Humpf… C’est con ça… Bon ben je vais essayer de le réanimer. Ou réutiliser les morceaux. Sauf la tête, Pas sur que quiconque souhaite une cervelle capable de ça.
    – Moi, si.
    – Vraiment ?
    – Oh oui, je saurai quoi en faire. Avec du vinaigre et des câpres.
