All’s done.
Pressure ok.
Oxy-tank full.
Warp engine stable.
Antimatter fuel tank full.
Van Halen deflectors operational.
Navcomputer online and calibrated.
Horacio slithers into the cockpit and took a brief look outside: Ever growing crystals. Raven. Doc. The crew, or whatever they have become.
Her hands reach for the com. She tries to say something but can’t. What’s left to say? They are still outside, grabbing what she didn’t use from the ship, building… whatever. Not even looking at her.
She can feel a faint presence lurking at the back of her head. She feels she could just… reach it and plug it. Like a hanging cable.
She could be one too… With them. With Raven.
There’s only one thing left to decide before taking off.
Will she arm the antimatter bomb she left on the ship?

Réservoir d’oxygène plein.
Moteur de distorsion stable.
Réservoir d’antimatière plein.
Déflecteurs de Van Hallen opérationnels.
Ordinateur de navigation en ligne et calibré.
Horacio se glisse dans le cockpit et jette un bref coup d’oeil à l’extérieur. Cristaux. Raven. Doc. Le reste de l’équipage ou plutôt ce qu’ils sont désormais.
Ses mains attrapent la radio. Elle essaie de dire quelque chose mais…Qu’est-ce qu’elle pourrait dire au juste ? Dehors, ils marchent sans relâche, ramassant ce qu’elle n’a pas utilisé du vaisseau, construisant… peu importe. Ils ne font même pas attention à elle.
Elle peut sentir une faible présence tapie à l’arrière de son crâne. Elle sent qu’elle pourrait juste… la brancher. Comme un câble qui traîne.
Elle pourrait être une elle aussi… Avec eux. Avec Raven.
Il ne reste qu’une chose à décider avant de décoller.
Doit-elle armer la bombe antimatière qu’elle a laissée sur le vaisseau ?
