Behold, Cat
The Wise Archbishop of the Tetraverse don’t know what to do. Nor does the Subvizir of the Opalescent Aerial Palace.
The crow’s whispering. William (the Megachancelor of the Iridescent Nirvana of the Universal Salvation) must do something, and quick… but what? There’s simply no precedent in the protocol.
The intruder, a short-head female cat named Waffle, is laying on the Sacred Circle, unfazed by the whole situation. A rather unfortunate timing because the sacred texts clearly indicate that “the first one standing alone in the Sacred Circle shall be the victorious”.
There is a moment of silence.
Waffle yawns.
William sighs. No choice.
– By the powers invested in me, I hereby welcome you… cat, to be our new Advisor of the Splendid Secret! Behold, Cat!
There’s a brief hesitation from the crowd, but the words of the Megachancelor are law.
– BEHOLD, CAT!

La foule murmure.
William (Le Mégachancelier de l’iridescent Niravana de l’Universel
Salut) doit faire quelque chose, et vite… Mais quoi ? Le protocole ne
prévoit pas de pareil cas.
L’intruse, une chatte shorthair
nommée Gaufrette, est allongée de tout son long sur le Cercle Sacré, le
moins du monde incommodée par la foule alentour. Un concours de
circonstances plutôt embêtant, car les textes sacrés indiquent
clairement que “Le premier à entrer seul dans le Cercle Sacré sera
désigné victorieux”.
Moment de silence.
Gaufrette baille.
William soupire. Pas le choix.

La foule hésite bien un moment, mais les paroles du Mégachancelier font force de loi.
