  • Two years

    It took two years, but it finally got me,
    Even with the vaccine, it’s tough.
    No more breath, no more strength, no more thoughts…
    It still hurts.
    And yet, I feel lucky.
    Lucky to have a home, food and healing.
    Lucky to not having to shelter myself from bombs.
    Lucky to be free to complain about it.
    To those who can’t. To those who suffer far worse ordeal than me, hang on.
    Hang on. Thrive and fight. Keep moving. Keep breathing.
    There will be a tomorrow.

    Ça a pris deux ans, mais je me suis finalement fait avoir.
    Même avec le vaccin, c’est dur.
    Plus de souffle, plus de forces, plus de pensées…
    Et ça dure encore.
    Pourtant, je me sais chanceux.
    Chanceux d’avoir un toit, d’avoir à manger, d’avoir des soins
    Chanceux de ne pas a voir à me cacher des bombes.
    Chanceux de pouvoir m’en plaindre librement.
    A ceux qui ont moins de chance, qui affrontent bien pire que moi. Je voudrait vous dire : tenez-bon.
    Tenez-bon. Luttez, survivez. Avancez. Respirez.
    Demain viendra.

  • Vertigo

    Slow updates recently, I’ve been hit with a sudden and violent vertigo that won’t go away (with nausea, yaaay….) just after finishing some very nice commissions (more on that soon). I can’t stop the world around me from spinning, Doc said I just need to be patient, and to take anti-vertigo medicine (with headache as secondary effects, more yaaaay…)

    Inktober not dropped, I just need some rest.

    Peu de dessins ces derniers temps car je suis pris de soudaines et violentes crises de vertiges qui refusent de s’en aller (avec nausées, youpi…) Et cela juste après avoir fini de passionnantes commissions (vous verrez bientôt) Je ne peux empêcher le monde de tourner, aussi le docteur m’invite à prendre mon mal en patience. Et de prendre des pilules anti-vertiges (avec migraine comme effet secondaire, plus de youpi…)

    Je continue l’inktober après un peu de repos.
