  • To the Village

    Traveling light, lost in nature.
No way to scan, so here’s pictures
I’m still drawing, I’m still chasing
My greatest dreams, soon is coming

Je voyage léger, perdu dans les bois d’en haut
Pas de scan à portée, alors je prends photo
de mes rêves les plus abscons, les plus rigolos
Le plus beau, le plus grand d’entre eux arrive bientôt

  • The Old Well

The Old Well was there way before the village was founded. Nobody
knew who or when built it. It was like theses old monoliths, sorta “has
been there all along” kind of landmark. House after house, the village
grew large, the old well at its center. The water was always crystal
clear and fresh, even in the direst of droughts.
    Without
realizing it, the inhabitants always felt compel to gather around at
any time of the day. Just to greet each other, talk and share a moment
of together. Some says the well is magic, and has been enchanted. They
say that under the coping are carved mystical runes. But nobody dares to
unseal the lips to check underneath, for they fear it would break the
    charm.

  • Village of Wrecknick

A small landscape study, drawn in transportation. Thus explaining blurriness and shaking lines…

    I
decided this village is an old place near the Black forest, named
Wrecknick. Around 1892, a mud slide cut the village in half, rearranging
the river’s path and bringing new strange blue crayfish in the stream.
With this new wealth, the inhabitants rebuilt their homes, while keeping
the steep that brought them such good luck.
