Is evolution a red herring? The constant upward course of an unique code, unidirectional, improved with each iteration?
No, of course.
Going up or down the stream is all but linear. It’s like wandering though a time-maze, and infinity of trials and errors, ever intersecting and recrossing to spawn temporary solutions to a given situation.

L’évolution serait-elle un fil rouge ? Une progression constante, unidirectionnelle, d’un code unique sans cesse amélioré à chaque itération ?
Non bien évidemment.
Remonter ou descendre le fil d’une évolution est tout sauf linéaire. C’est comme parcourir un labyrinthe temporel, une infinité d’essais et d’erreurs et de chemins qui se recroisent sans cesse pour une solution temporaire à un contexte donné.
