Burned to the ground
On the second of September, 2018, a fire broke out at Paço de São Cristóvão in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which housed the 200-year-old National Museum of Brazil.
This is a tragedy. I know there is worse event out there. War, famine, hate mongering and general defiance to facts.But this one could have been avoided easily. This one destroyed the past of a nation.Pencil doodle on A6 sketchbook

RPG Character – Alastor Nephentes
“Thebes’s fines herbs” is an herbalist shop in Diagon alley.
Astragal and Agatha Nephentes, the owners, have recently the joy to have
their only son Alastor accepted in Hogwarts School for Wizard. As they
often boasted of their ancient Egyptian origins of their family, it came
as no surprise when Alastor’s magical talent manifested some years ago
when he was attacked by a nasty seeding of tentaculatris excruciatis visciosis.
He instinctively repelled the dendrites with a sudden burst of
lightning. Since then, he has vainly tried to reproduce this feat to the
great amusement of Rhark, his raven.Much
of the family activities theses last summer were focused on the
preparation for the upcoming start of school. The Nephentes are not the
richest merchants in the street, but they certainly can afford a
scholarship for their son. Furthermore, his old pal Cecil came back from
the continent to shop with him. Soon after, he was equipped with a
brand new robe, books and a fine magic wand made from a twisted branch
of sycamore tree. The vendor assured him to his delight (and Agatha’s
woe) that this kind of wand had a tendency to catch fire if used
routinely to perform the same boring tricks again and again. It was made
with a special ingredient that was quite rare for it contained the
feather of a Sphinx!Alastor like to learn
with his body more than his mind, leading him to many troubles for him
and Cecil. He likes gardening, cooking and making potions. His parents
gave to him a pair of dragon-skin gloves that can resist to almost
anything! He likes to eat spicy food so much that his tasting buds
became quite dull, especially when compared to his keen sense of smell.
He really want to study the best he can to make his parents proud of
him. He hope one day to take their succession at the boutique, but after
visiting the world.With such a passion
for exploration and experimentation,it came as no surprise when the

Masks of Nyarlathotep – Interview with sir Edward Gavigan
London, upstairs the residence of Shirley Greengrass, February the 28th, England.
Upon
hearing the indecent proposition of Awnya, Sir Gavigan repressed a
smile. He quickly calculate than the nubile young women before him must
be seventeen yeas old at most. Is this a trap ? Is this way for her to
lure him somewhere to discuss matters more privates ? He couldn’t deny
his desires but he certainly could dominate himself.The
old Crowley is a fool. But a smart one. He did led the Golden dawn to
its today’s demise, and had access to numerous artifacts he would kill
for. The three sisters were rumored to have immense powers, and quite
the large number of followers. An offer from one of them is not
something to take lightly.He reached the glass
doors of the library, opened it and tip the “dragonflies phylotaxonomia”
volume. Then he proceed to rotate the furniture to reveal a small
cabinet, with a secretaire, a comfortable armchair and wall covered in
leather-bound books.– Please, follow me. Let my old pal rest. He won’t notice, I assure you.
He
went inside the small cabinet. He knew about the exotic tastes of the
old Shirley, and if he remembers correctly… ah, here it is. Indeed,
the last row of books are all fakes. Inside, no more entomology
researches, by depiction of mature women, bound in strange apparatus of
leather and steel. each position more twisted than the other… A
connoisseur indeed.Holding the book high,
he started flip the pages. This was more to give himself a composure
than anything. Awnya sat in the armchair, to the amusement of Sir
Gavigan. If only the old Greengrass were sane enough to realize there is
a beautiful young woman sitting in the very place he yanked him so much
