  • Just a maid, Ep.15 : Cooking

    Josephine is good at cleaning. Too good, in fact. The floor has never been so free of dust, spots, twigs, stranded leaves, carpets and cats. Her constant oozing melted the varnishes all around and even her recognize that eating the laundry was a mistake.  

    So now she’s in charge of cooking. She’s very fast at it, working with all of her hearths. The quality had dropped a little but service is quite remarkable.

    It was only natural to grant her the position of chief since she ate the last cook.

  • The source maker

    I searched long and hard, the mountains and the plains
    I found it in at last ! The source of all, flowing free,
    Crystal pure water, nectar to the palate that stings the mind
    All along the way, it was there. Within myself.

  • Just a maid, ep.13 : Shopping

    The alchemist living down-street is a strange fellow that one day realized he forgot to die.
    To continue his magical studies he needed funds and so opened a shop. He have a vast network of suppliers, and soon he found that selling his surplus and his own personal creations makes quite a profit. Balms, potions, herbs, desiccated organs, gems, trapped souls, red moon wine, spider silk, salt of the ancient… If you know what you’re searching for, you’ll find it in his shop.

    But for now, Martha needed some dusters made from harpies feathers. And a way to protect them from melting in Josephine’s tentacles.

  • Guardian of Sargon 2

    Another guardian of Sargon’s palace

    I really recommend reading the story of this site, which is extensively documented. Letters between Sargon and his suppliers are especially funny :

    -“Sorry my King, the statues are ready but they were too heavy and sunk our ships but everything is fine we did recover them please do not have us executed”!

    Another guardian of Sargon’s palace

    Guardians of the temple of Sagon, the Androcephals Winged Taurus watches.
    It is old, for it have three pairs of horns, He is Divine, for it has wings, It is powerful, for it has the body of the taurus.
