  • Just a Maid -34- No need for that anymore

I think I don’t need this charm anymore. With some luck, nobody saw me using it.

    ***

  • Just a Maid -29- So you re back…

Peeping… again. I know you’re looking for me. To learn about my “behavior” as you call it.
No way Mr scientist… I won’t let you do that.

Ainsi tu est de retour… Espionnant, encore.

Just a Maid, Ep 28 : Watering the plants

And today for my little flowers, a nice little cocktail of rabbit’s blood and ichor. You’ll grow in no time! A few more inches and our nocturnal visitors that keeps trampling my plantations will no longer be a issue.

    – Well… I don’t know Josephine. Why indeed keep a collection of plate if you never use them?
    Uiuiiiirkshblu?
    – That’s doesn’t seems right, Madam won’t eat plates. Thus it’s not a reserve or a cellar. I think…
    Ghbl?
    – I think it’s art. Simply a display of beautiful craftsmanship.
    Rhkkkk…blu?
    – Then why keeping the room locked? Hum… to protect the guests away from the plate maybe. Madam Do care about the guests well being.

    Urrrkhfbluuuurg
    – Hum…
    Rhkkkk…blu?
    – Pourquoi les garder sous clef ? Mais pour protéger les invités bien sur ? Madame prends soins des invités.

  • Just a maid -25- Laundry day

It’s not a chore if you enjoy doing it.
And why won’t you? Sure, it’s damp, heavy, tedious,… but the wind is nice to play with, the air is filled with fresh scents and playing with the laundry is like playing with kites. Who doesn’t like kites?

  • Just a maid -24- Mr Crow

    Dear Mr.[smudged]

My name is Phineas Jollybottom. You may not know me, and I apologize for writing you on such a short notice. I am a field zoologist from the Miskatonic university, and I frequently pass by your property while investigating the local fauna. It has come to my attention that one of the cordivae currently roaming in your vicinity exhibit the most peculiar behavior. I consulted with Dr. Armitage, a colleague of mine and we strongly suspect some extraneous influence on the cognitive ability of this specimen.

With your permission, we would like to investigate further and try to capture it for further investigations, Could we arrange a visit from our team to set up some traps around your property? I guaranty you the least intrusive models we have in stock and the utmost discretion from our workers. I took the liberty to join this letter the details of my research on this strange specimen behavior to show you our good will and faith in your interest in science.

    Yours sincerly,

    Phineas Jollybotton, Pr.
