  • Adventure – You are what you eat

    Blood has
    been spilled. Roots were soak in it, and the Forest drank it. Should it
    has been given freely or by accident, it could have led to nice, gentle
    things. But it was murderous blood, full of greed and hatred. Killing
    blood. The Forest’s now full of murder.

    We are what we eat.

    You better run.

    What will you do?
    – Run. Run as fast as you can.
    – This is just plants. Fight them.
    – Offer your own blood in compensation
    – Suggest something else?

    Le
    sang a été versé. Par ses racines immergée la Forêt l’a bu. Eu-t-il été
    offert librement ou par accident les choses se seraient mieux passé.
    Mais ce sang est celui d’un meurtre, chargé de haine et cupidité. Ce
    sang à un prix. La forêt en est gorgé maintenant.

    Nous sommes ce que nous mangeons.

    Vous feriez mieux de courir..

    Que faites-vous ?
    – Courir. Courir aussi vite que vous le pouvez
    – Ce ne sont que des plantes, battons-nous !
    – Offrir son propre sang en compensation.
    – Suggérer autre chose ?

    Brother Patrick argued that a shotgun won’t be of any use against the Shoggoth, terrible monstrosities of the Abysses.
    Brother Angus proved him otherwise, blew his kneecaps and thus easily outran him.

    Frère Patrick insistait qu’un fusil à pompe ne serait d’aucune utilité face à un Shoggoth, terrible monstruosité de l’Abîme.

    Frère Angus lui prouva que si en lui explosant les genoux, lui permettant de le distancer aisément.

  • Blinding Horror

    What would be the most horrifying?
    To see this horror creeping toward you, losing your sanity at each of its grotesque transformations?
    Or been blinded by the rays of unholy light it emits, thus avoiding its hideous appearance but unable to locate the thing?

    Qu’est-ce qui serait le plus horrible selon vous ?
    Voir cette horreur ramper dans votre direction et perdre votre santé mentale à chacune de ses grotesques contorsions ?
    Ou être aveugle par ses rayons de lumière malsaine, protégé de son hideuse apparence mais incapable de savoir où elle se trouve?
