    Leprechaun

    We hunted for mushrooms this morning
    We found one, with someone here sitting
    He told us : “Get away, this one’s mine!”
    So we left him alone. “‘Ok, fine !”

    As we were, quite bummed, now leaving,
    “Won’t you argue? Won’t you barge?” he taunted
    “No way man”, we told him. “Leprechaun,
    we know best than trusting your sayings.”

    Un matin nous cherchions champignons,
    Nous ne trouvâmes, ce fut long, qu’un seul cèpe
    Assis d’ssus, un ptit gars nous hélas :
    “Barrez-vous, c’est le mien”. Bon, ok.

    Alors qu’on s’appretait à partir
    Le ptit gars nous cria de rev’nir
    “Ben alors ? pas de cris ? Ni nego ?”
    “Pas question, Leprechaun, pas idiots.”

  • Crosswind Peak

    High above the clouds, far away into the high mountains of Skirspaal hangs the most sacred place of the Wind Chapel, protected by an everlasting storm like no navigator has ever seen. According to the Gospel of the Breeze, the Crosswind Peak is the place where all winds originate and return. No one but the high priest is allowed to speak here, because the words uttered between the two spikes will be carried and whispered to all ears around the world, commoners and kings alike.
    That is why no one dare to anger the wind priests, for they words can spread faster than tornadoes.

    Au dessus des nuages, accroché au plus haut sommet des monts Skirspaal et protégé par un cyclone éternel se trouve le lieu le plus sacré de la Chapelle des Vents. Le Gospel de la brise raconte que le Pic du Croisevent est l’endroit d’où vont et viennent les vents. Nul autre que le Haut Prêtre n’est autorisé à parler en ce lieu, car les moindres mots prononcés au creux de la fourche sont emportés par les vents et chuchotés aux oreilles de la terre entière, du plus humble des serf au plus puissant des rois.
    C’est pourquoi nul ne cherche noise aux prêtres des vents, car leur vengeance se répands à la vitesse d’une tornade.

  • The stray cat and the sentient rock – 3

    After that, the cat did return occasionally to sleeps on the rock during the last days of autumn.
    Winter came, and the snow covered the rock, forcing it to closes its eyes and wait for spring.
    Upon the return of the sun, when the snow melted away, the rock waited again for the cat.

    Slowly, the rock started to purr.

    I was born from the stars,

    Felt good to draw for myself one again after all these commissions ^^

  • Convention Booth

    I was holding a stand with my sweetheart at a fantasy convention in Paris this weekend.
    It was my first experience from the other side of the table and it was a very stressful experience for the introvert i am, but much needed as I want to try selling my doodles and my craft more. We had some dreadful hiccups along the way (my sweetheart lost their phone in the subway :/) but overall, had plenty of fun. I even had the joy to encounter one of my childhood idol : Didier Guiserix, who is one of the one which made me want to start drawing in the first place. Sitting behind the stand and watching cosplayers pass through while exchanging with so many peoples, gave me myriads of inspirations.

    So… Expect a lot of random doodle for the next weeks ^^

  • The Challenge of 99 – Part 1

    This one was a toughie !
    The challenge was to produce 99 doodles in less than 3 days for a larp card game.
    Instructions
    were very light and setup was confusingly varied. I had to use
    imagination and go for the most efficient (= fast) solution.

  • Wind and smokes

    The spell worked just fine. Not only she could breathe easily among
    the sulfurous fumes, but she won’t even be incommoded by the smell. Her
    progression was slow, her path always bloked by the hot natural
    chimneys of this land. To her knowledge, no humans made up this far.

    She
    was close, she could feel it. Soon she will be the first to discover
    the final destination of the Everwind, at the very center of the Land of
    Fire.
